About The Role

As our Property Officer (M&E), you will be the primary point of contact for the upkeep and optimization of facilities under your care. This role involves overseeing maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing safety to guarantee that every corner of our building operates smoothly and efficiently. It blends hands-on oversight, strategic planning, and a strong focus on sustainability to help create a safe, sustainable, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance and repair activities, ensuring adherence to high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) equipment to maintain optimal service levels.
• Manage and renew service contracts, licenses, and permits, ensuring they remain current and compliant.
• Propose improvements, repairs, and upgrades to enhance overall building functionality and efficiency.
• Coordinate and supervise contractor performance, ensuring services are delivered on time and meet high quality standards.
• Implement energy-saving and water conservation initiatives to align with sustainability goals.
• Lead risk management, emergency planning, and workplace safety initiatives.
• Prepare monthly operational reports and attend client meetings to provide updates on facility performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements

• Hold a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience in property management, facilities maintenance, or equipment management.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Possess relevant professional certifications such as FSM, Green Mark, ZWM, WEM, SIFMA Tier 1–4, IFMA, or SCEM.
• Strong customer service orientation combined with excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledgeable about complex technical issues related to building maintenance and a proactive approach to proposing innovative solutions.
