Summer Intern Position

The Summer Intern will have experience and responsibilities including:

• Preparing vendor payments on the e-banking system (checking invoice details, tracking invoices to ensure no duplication, and liaising with suppliers and Polymer affiliates).
• Preparing monthly debit notes and journal entries for management, income/expenses, and reimbursements from funds and related parties.
• Assisting with month-end closing for both corporate and fund entities, including reconciliation with counterparties.
• Preparing and maintaining monthly balance sheet schedules such as trade debtors, fixed assets, bank reconciliation, prepayment, and accrual schedules.
• Assisting in preparing and drafting financial statements and relevant notes, and producing audit schedules for statutory audits and tax filings.
• Assisting in maintaining setups within corporate and fund accounting/expenses systems.
• Maintaining a proper filing system and various control schedules for the Finance Department, ensuring all accounting-related supporting records are kept up to date, complete, and accurate.
• Contributing to ad-hoc projects within the team.

Qualifications

• Students currently studying Accounting/Finance or a related degree.
• Detail-minded, organized, responsible, and independent individual who is proactive, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative.
• Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint. Prior experience in Oracle/SAP/Enfusion is a plus. Knowledge in Macros is a plus.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
