What You'll Do

As an Office Experience & Events Assistant at BCG’s Brooklyn office, you will join the Office Experience team—a collaborative, service-oriented group vital to shaping the workplace and cultural experience. With a strong focus on hospitality, administrative coordination, and day-to-day operational excellence, you will support various workflows and experiences that help staff and visitors feel connected, supported, and proud of their environment.

In this multi-function role, you will maintain a highly functioning office, deliver a seamless experience for guests, visitors, and employees, and help execute events of all sizes, from large celebrations to casual happy hours. You will support daily operations, foster connection and productivity through the office environment, and deliver service with a can-do, hospitality-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all Concierge processes, including front desk coverage, visitor and request management, room bookings, and meeting calendar coordination.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff while covering Concierge duties, setting the tone for the overall office experience in this highly visible role.
  • Triage and communicate meeting-support requests, such as IT needs or administrative support, to relevant teams for timely execution.
  • Lead meeting and event setup and day-of onsite support, including room configuration, catering coordination, breakdown, and guest experience management.
  • Manage the office lunch program and coordinate catering for meetings and events.
  • Support the execution of events of all sizes—from large-scale celebrations to internal meetings and small gatherings—including on-site and after-hours support.
  • Maintain the office microsite and update digital signage and face pages.
  • Manage expense and receipt reconciliation and expense management, including budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor management.
  • Support office operations by maintaining general cleanliness and readiness of shared spaces, conference rooms, and kitchens.
  • Coordinate basic maintenance and repairs with internal teams and external vendors, including reporting and tracking issues.
  • Manage supply inventory and place orders for office, kitchen, and meeting materials.
  • Assist with mail/package handling, shipping coordination, and courier management.
  • Partner with colleagues across OE, Admin Services, and functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of experiences, flexing across responsibilities as needed during peak periods.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 0–2 years of experience in office operations, events coordination, hospitality, customer service, or administrative support—ideally in a professional services or client-facing setting.
  • Strong service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage logistics and juggle competing priorities with poise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds and to work in-office five days a week.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed, especially during events or high-demand periods.

Additional Information

City: Brooklyn

This role requires a 5-day per week in-office presence, allowing for critically important learning, collaboration, and networking with our colleagues.

Compensation Information

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, an annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market-leading benefits package.

The base salary range for this role is $60,000–$67,000. This is an estimated range, and specific base salaries depend on factors such as office location, experience, and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, total compensation will include a discretionary bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and increases to 10% after 2 years.
