What You Will Do

You will be based in our London office, working closely with other paralegals and lawyers across Europe.

You will be responsible for handling a wide range of paralegal tasks, including aiding with client support and team projects. You will liaise with various stakeholders, such as consultants, other firm functions, leadership, and outside counsel in Europe. Your work is fast-paced and requires problem-solving, ranging from routine questions to complex and sophisticated legal matters.

Your role involves playing an active part in all aspects of paralegal support across the Europe-based legal team. This includes database management and tracking various initiatives and compliance processes. You will maintain all necessary records, contracts, and reports for both active and closed matters.

Key responsibilities include project managing waiver letter processes—drafting, reviewing, and negotiating these documents. You will monitor Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) notifications from internal systems, logging and closing associated files in our contracts management tool, including performing contract searches and handling signatures where applicable. Furthermore, you will collaborate with legal teams in other jurisdictions on special projects, and you will help implement and embed current and future technology and AI initiatives within the wider legal team. Your work will directly support the firm’s mission to help clients achieve their goals while safeguarding the firm’s reputation and long-term success.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree (not essential but preferable) and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in a law firm setting as a paralegal, contracts administrator, or senior administrative support within a legal environment, possessing a generalist commercial understanding and knowledge of corporate secretarial functions.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international environment.
  • Proven ability to provide project management support.
  • Excellent organizational skills and judgment, with the ability to work independently and entrepreneurially, managing and prioritizing multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A confident, highly collaborative, and flexible team player.
  • Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced computer skills are essential (including the Microsoft Office suite, data management systems, and a strong interest or proficiency with AI tools).
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with excellent written and oral communication.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional European language is preferred.
