Job Description: Data Solutions Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Solutions Data Analyst to join our growing CDO Data Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong SQL skills, a naturally curious mindset, and a passion for solving problems through data. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, translating real-world challenges into meaningful data solutions that support critical decision-making. While experience is important, we are more interested in potential, looking for someone eager to learn, confident collaborating with others, and motivated to build both technical expertise and understanding of investment data.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with business users to understand their goals, challenges, and data requirements.
• Using SQL to search, query, investigate, and analyze enterprise data.
• Modeling, manipulating, and testing data to support reliable solutions.
• Translating requirements into user stories, features, and clear acceptance criteria.
• Producing data flows, mapping specifications, and service descriptions.
• Investigating data issues and identifying root causes with relevant stakeholders.
• Supporting users through User Acceptance Testing.
• Collaborating with data, technology, change, and business colleagues to create sustainable solutions.

Who we’re looking for:

• Practical experience using SQL to query and analyze data.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience gathering requirements or working directly with business users.
• Confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A curious approach and willingness to research unfamiliar problems.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing within data and asset management.
• Exposure to asset management, investments, or financial services would be beneficial.
• Python, data governance, or BI/reporting experience would be helpful but is not essential.
