Technology Intern, Core Technology (Jan - Jun 2027)

Temasek's Core Technology team is seeking driven individuals to support the end-to-end delivery of our core systems. These critical systems support core investment and corporate business functions, enhancing Temasek's capabilities as a Generational Investor, Forward Looking Institution, and Trusted Steward.

The Core Technology team manages applications that support multiple business functions, including investment, finance, human resources, and regulatory reporting. We seek candidates passionate about learning, eager to become IT practitioners with a delivery mindset focused on providing business value.

This internship is ideal for candidates interested in gaining work experience in project management and operating on core systems, especially in partnering with system vendors. This role offers the chance to develop delivery skillsets and gain a foundational understanding of Temasek’s core businesses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with vendor partners and business users to develop new technologies and build solutions using technologies such as RPA.
• Assist the team with basic data analytics and dashboard creation.
• Work with the PMO, delivery, and project managers on project governance, management reporting, planning, and scheduling.
• Support end-to-end system implementation adopting SDLC Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
• Ensure the timely maintenance of the project/system documentation repository by partners.
• Facilitate team collaboration and communication.
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Computer Engineering with an information system major.
• Basic knowledge in using Tableau and RPA tools (UI Path).
• Basic understanding of Banking/Finance business knowledge (gained through elective modules).
• Familiarity with project management skills and SDLC Waterfall/Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
