Your Role in Our Team
Join us as an intern at Allianz SE Reinsurance Branch Asia Pacific in our Property & Casualty team, where you'll gain hands-on experience in both Underwriting and Client Management. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates to explore the world of insurance and make a real impact. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to exciting projects that help shape the future of reinsurance.
What You Will Contribute
- Learn about AZRE’s Asia Pacific business portfolio and strategy.
- Assist the team in drafting and preparing business cases and research papers.
- Prepare creative and engaging presentation slides for client meetings and internal discussions.
- Enhance analytical skills by supporting the analysis of portfolio performance, conducting data analysis on pricing models, and providing general support for pricing activities.
- Help define new and efficient workflows to improve business productivity by leveraging Allianz Re’s in-house AI platform.
- Participate in gathering data and performing market analysis.
- Be involved in reviewing and finalizing contract wordings in line with Allianz Re Underwriting Guidelines.
- Contribute to organizing fun and engaging Corporate Responsibility events and company initiatives.
- Have the opportunity to further develop industry-relevant skills and knowledge.
What You Bring to the Table
- Ability to commit for 6 to 7 months (January – June/July 2027), with a minimum of 3 full days per week. Priority will be given to candidates who can commit full-time.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Fluency in English. Fluency in other Asian languages is an advantage.
- Strong desire to learn and prepare for a career in the insurance industry.
- Team player with a service-oriented mindset, who is adaptable, analytical, meticulous, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Comfortable using AI tools as part of daily work.
