Cash and Trade Processing Representative 2 – Public Sector Lockbox

Business Overview

The Public Sector Lockbox business provides services to government clients to assist with managing receivables and sensitive documents. It is a highly regulated, high-security, multi-shift operation that operates 24/7, 363 days per year. The core function at the Getzville location is data entry.

Position Overview

The Cash and Trade Processing Representative 2 provides transactional processing support, including data entry and auditing of client products. The role performs moderately complex transactions, supports operating efficiency and productivity, provides backup coverage for team members, and contributes to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards for all data entry and auditing functions.
• Perform multiple transactions of moderate complexity accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrate strong focus and attention to detail to minimize rework and support straight-through processing.
• Participate in activities related to compliance with procedures and controls.
• Adapt positively to changing deadlines, assignments, and business requirements.
• Escalate observed issues promptly and appropriately.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase productivity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
• Ability to successfully complete an extensive background check, including criminal, credit, drug, background, and Treasury File checks. Certain checks are renewed every five years.
• Strong data entry skills and the ability to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• General computer proficiency, including basic Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with lockbox applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team toward a common goal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strict deadlines and service levels.

Schedule

• Full-time, on-site evening shift position.
• Must work at least one weekend day.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and additional hours or flexible schedules as required by business needs.
