Universal Banker

The Universal Banker is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with sales, product, and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective of this role is to build customer relationships, foster loyalty, and help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist existing customers with basic account opening.
• Provide service to internal and external customers and resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners when appropriate.
• Identify sales opportunities during service transactions and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
• Support branch sales and service activities by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, and related activities.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures, to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets.
• Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, with particular consideration for the firm's reputation and the protection of Citi, its clients, and its assets.
• Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; adhere to policies; apply sound ethical judgment; and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous retail banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation

• Primary Location Full-Time Salary Range: $50,030.00–$65,270.00 annually
• Hourly Rate: $24.05–$31.37

The salary shown is for full-time positions and will be prorated for part-time hires based on the number of hours worked.
