Duties and Responsibilities
The Analyst position provides an opportunity to work in a demanding yet supportive, team-oriented environment. In addition to developing financial analysis and research skills, Analysts become involved in transactions from start to finish. As the analytical anchor for the deal team, the Analyst is responsible for preparing, completing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial modeling and analysis.
The Analyst is expected to interpret financial analysis results, pose questions, draw conclusions, and contribute to the preparation of client presentations. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing marketing materials for sell-side and buy-side advisory assignments
- Identifying potential acquirers
- Conducting industry and company-specific research
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of presentation materials
- Supporting the due diligence process
- Interacting with clients regularly
- Attending client meetings
- Supporting the firm’s marketing activities related to an industry or engagement

Qualifications
- A minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree or equivalent from a leading university
- Assertiveness, attention to detail, and self-motivation, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing, verbal communication, and computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Prior mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, or investment banking experience through full-time employment or multi-month internships
