Universal Banker

The Universal Banker is an entry-level position responsible for assisting with sales, product, and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective is to foster customer relationships, build loyalty, and help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist existing customers with basic account opening.
• Provide service to internal and external customers to resolve account-related issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners when appropriate.
• Identify sales opportunities during service transactions and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
• Support sales and service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, and related activities.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures, to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets.
• Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, with particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and the safeguarding of Citi, its clients, and its assets.
• Comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies; apply sound ethical judgment; and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.

Qualifications

• One to three years of relevant experience.
• Previous retail banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation

Full-Time Salary Range: $50,030.00–$65,270.00

The salary shown is for full-time positions and will be prorated for part-time hires based on the number of hours worked.

Hourly Rate: $24.05–$31.37
