American Express’ Internal Audit Group (IAG) mission is to protect and enhance organizational value by providing independent, objective, and risk-based assurance and advisory services, and to influence the way the Company manages risk. IAG aims to achieve its Winning Aspirations as a world-class internal audit function by:

How Will You Make an Impact in This Role?

Those joining will develop operational internal audit skills through an internal audit focused project, exposing the auditor to various portfolios within the third line. You will gain hands-on audit experience to identify and evaluate risk, business process controls, and/or technology controls across American Express.

As a summer intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and apply the internal audit methodology while gaining an understanding of the American Express business model.
