Quantitative Master’s Internship Program

This program mirrors the MBA Internship but is tailored for master’s students in quantitative disciplines, providing the same exposure and impact with a focus on advanced analytics and problem-solving.

Eligibility

  • Students enrolled in analytics, computational finance, financial engineering, mathematics, and/or a quantitative-disciplined master’s program
  • Graduating between September 2027 and July 2028
  • Relevant pre-master’s work experience

BlackRock Global Markets and Index Investments (BGM) brings together BlackRock’s Index Investments, Markets, Liquidity & Financing, and Platform & Strategy businesses. Together, we provide clients with superior market access and index investment outcomes through:

We are a global team of 940+ with a footprint in all our major offices across each region. Teams include Index Investments teams and additional BGM teams that provide quantitative models to support internal funds and develop analytical tools to support client and product teams.

What You’ll Do

This opportunity gives successful candidates a chance to be involved in shaping product strategy and design, navigating markets, and learning about the liquid investment ecosystem—along with the day-to-day management disciplines of a successful business.

Our Hybrid Work Model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship while supporting flexibility. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
