Key Role Details

• Full-time paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2027.
• If you previously interviewed for the Business Analyst role (AIP or ADP), you must wait a minimum of 6 months from your last Powerday date.
• Must be located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location for the duration of the program, in accordance with Capital One’s hybrid working model.
• Interns will be evaluated for a full-time position within rotational programs, with start dates six months to one year following completion of the internship.

Business Analyst Internship - Summer 2027

As an intern in the Analyst Intern Program (AIP), you’ll apply your strategic and analytical skills to impactful challenges on an experienced and collaborative team that drive company growth—such as building technology-driven products for customers, crafting marketing and digital strategy, and analyzing business impacts of credit approval and real-time fraud detection. You’ll have the opportunity to grow and explore while being mentored by senior leaders and associates in our Analyst Development Program.

This experience will help launch your career journey by strengthening your strategic business acumen and refining technical skills through coding and modeling. With a strong business foundation and a supportive cohort of peers and leaders, the career possibilities are extensive.

Responsibilities

• Build your business acumen: Develop strategic problem-solving, quantitative analytics, and communication skills. Partner across teams to create new solutions to major challenges using analytical best practices.
• Leverage technology to drive solutions: Develop technical skills by learning tools such as SQL and Python to support your analysis. Use a data-backed approach to evaluate efficiencies and solve business problems.
• Act as an owner: Drive recommendations, implement solutions, and realize your impact while collaborating with cross-functional leaders.
• Reimagine banking: Use information, data, analytics, ingenuity, and empathy to deliver technology-driven solutions for customers.
• Be a change agent: Help people improve their relationship with their money. Transform communities through financial inclusion by identifying the right products for the right customers, assessing risks, and optimizing lending practices.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher, with the expectation that you will complete your most recent full-time degree program by August 2028 or earlier.
  • For example: If you graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in May 2027 and are enrolled in a full-time Master’s degree program with an expected graduation date of May 2028, then your most recent full-time degree program is your Master’s degree.
• Must continue in the same course of study of your most recent full-time degree program following completion of the internship.

Salary Information

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. This salary information applies to candidates hired to perform work within these locations, and reflects the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles are prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

• Chicago, IL: $99,000 - $99,000 (Product Management and Analytics Intern)
• McLean, VA: $109,000 - $109,000 (Product Management and Analytics Intern)
• New York, NY: $119,000 - $119,000 (Product Management and Analytics Intern)
• Plano, TX: $99,000 - $99,000 (Product Management and Analytics Intern)
• Richmond, VA: $99,000 - $99,000 (Product Management and Analytics Intern)

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
