As an Intern within the Services team, you will gain exposure to corporate banking, industry coverage, and client relationship management. You will develop your research, analytical, and communication skills while working alongside experienced bankers who provide financing and advisory solutions to help clients achieve their growth ambitions.
How You Succeed
To excel in this role, you will need to be curious, analytical, and eager to learn. You will work closely with Relationship Managers and business stakeholders to analyse industry developments, conduct market research, and support client coverage activities. Your ability to interpret information, develop meaningful insights, and communicate findings clearly will be key to supporting business decisions and creating value for clients.
What You Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Industry Research: conduct research on sectors covered by the Services team, including Public Sector, Healthcare, Consumer, Professional Services, Education, and New Economy businesses
- Market Intelligence: gather and evaluate market intelligence, industry developments, and economic trends to identify opportunities and support business strategy
- Business Insights: analyse information and translate findings into actionable insights that support client engagement and portfolio management activities
- Financial Analysis: assist in reviewing financial and business information to support client assessments and business recommendations
- Presentation Development: prepare client presentations, industry updates, briefing materials, and management reports
- Client Coverage Support: support Relationship Managers in client-related activities, including research, meeting preparation, and business development initiatives
- Report Writing: assist in the preparation of research reports, industry analyses, and business summaries for internal stakeholders
- Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on strategic initiatives, sector reviews, and other assignments as required
Who You Work With
Global Corporate Banking partners large corporates, multinational companies, and public sector organisations through a comprehensive range of financing, advisory, and banking solutions. Within the Regional Conglomerates & Diversified Industries – Services team, you will work alongside experienced Relationship Managers and industry specialists who support clients across a diverse range of sectors. You will gain insights into corporate banking, industry coverage, client relationship management, and how financial institutions support businesses through different stages of growth.

- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable in a dynamic work environment
- Keen to learn about corporate banking products and solutions, including bilateral loans, global markets, global transaction banking solutions, loan syndications, debt capital markets, and M&A advisory transactions
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
Learning Objectives
This internship will provide you with:
- Foundational knowledge of the Public Sector, Healthcare, Consumer, Professional Services, Education, and New Economy sectors relevant to corporate banking
- Exposure to corporate banking products and solutions, including lending, transaction banking, capital markets, and advisory services
- Hands-on experience gathering, evaluating, and interpreting market intelligence and industry trends

- Experience translating complex information into actionable business insights and recommendations
- Opportunities to strengthen presentation, report-writing, and communication skills
- Exposure to client coverage, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement within a corporate banking environment
