Evercore’s Real Estate Strategic Advisory (“RESA”) group provides comprehensive advisory and capital raising solutions to private and public real estate-focused companies, sponsors, and LPs globally. The group is a leader in private M&A, recapitalizations, and fundraising for real estate sponsors. RESA serves a diverse client base, including financial sponsors, asset managers, public and private REITs, real estate developers and operators, real estate servicers, and others. The group offers investment banking services across capital raising, capital structure advisory, M&A advisory, and other areas of real estate expertise. Team members are located in London, Frankfurt, New York, Los Angeles, Dubai, and Hong Kong.

Role Overview

The RESA team seeks to hire an Analyst to join the team in London. RESA provides qualified candidates exposure to all aspects of the global real estate advisory and fund placement business. Analysts should have real estate experience, be team players, and demonstrate a desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment. The role involves working on a variety of assignments, including acquisition advisory, restructurings, recapitalizations, divestitures, fundraising, partnerships, and joint ventures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare for client meetings
• Build and maintain financial models
• Conduct industry analysis
• Support due diligence efforts
• Contribute to business development activities
• Collaborate as part of small project teams with close contact to senior client stakeholders and Evercore partners

Specific Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant work experience at a leading firm in areas including (but not limited to) private equity, investment banking, finance, brokerage, placement agent, or real estate development
• Real estate sector expertise preferred
• Strong grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
• Superior analytical skills and demonstrated excellence in academic coursework
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well in teams and articulate ideas
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented
• Highly disciplined work ethic
