About the Placement Programme

This 12-month university placement could fast-track you onto the ACA Graduate Programme, providing valuable insight into Deal Advisory and helping you decide if it’s the right path for your career. At the end of the placement, there may be an opportunity to progress onto the Graduate Programme, which could include the ACA Graduate Trainee pathway.

Deal Advisory Team Overview

The Deal Advisory team handles various financial aspects within a company, focusing on maximising shareholder value through financial planning, decision-making, and strategic analysis.

They work closely with other departments within the organisation, such as accounting, marketing, operations, and senior management, to provide financial insights that support and guide overall company strategies and decisions.

The team’s aim is to enhance the company’s financial performance, ensure financial stability, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the organisation.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Collaborative and eager to take on new challenges
• On track to receive a minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any degree discipline
• Minimum of 2 x A levels (A–C) and one other A level or equivalent
• 5 GCSEs at grades A*–C or 9–4 (including Maths and English Language or equivalent)
• Ability to absorb new information and adapt quickly
• Comfortable working with numbers and demonstrating strong attention to detail
• Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
• Able to explain financial information in an accessible and supportive manner
