Latin America Global Investment Banking Summer Associate Program – 2027

Program Overview

Bank of America provides clients with resources and expertise to address challenges around the world. Solutions span advisory, capital raising, banking, treasury and liquidity, sales and trading, and research capabilities.

Global Corporate & Investment Banking focuses on building long-term relationships with more than 3,000 large U.S. and multinational corporations, financial institutions, and financial sponsors. The business provides advisory expertise across mergers and acquisitions, corporate banking, treasury, debt and equity products to deliver integrated financial solutions.

Within the Latin America Investment Banking Coverage Group, summer associates help orchestrate capital raising and strategic advisory transactions. The summer associate program is designed to provide a broad, exciting experience as a full-time investment banking associate.

Training and development are a top priority, including extensive formal training at the start of the program, as well as on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout.

Responsibilities

Your key tasks and responsibilities may include:

• Developing and maintaining complex financial models
• Performing financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
• Conducting comprehensive company and industry research
• Preparing presentations and other materials for Latin America clients
• Participating in due diligence sessions
• Communicating and interacting with deal team members
• Managing multiple projects at once while working effectively as an individual and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Pursuing an MBA degree from an accredited university, with a graduation time frame between November 2027 and August 2028
• Fluent (oral and written) in Spanish and/or Portuguese
• Interest in, or experience working with, Latin America
• Track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
• Strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail, and client focus
• Strategic and creative thinking, with distinguished written and oral communication skills
• Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, and team focus
• Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
• Dedication to building a career in the Latin American investment banking industry
