The team is responsible for monitoring Coinbase’s operational crypto balances, supporting inventory operations processes, and improving controls and workflows across the business. As a Crypto Inventory Operations Intern, you’ll gain exposure to how a leading crypto company manages crypto assets at scale. You’ll work alongside experienced treasury professionals and partner with Product, Engineering, Accounting, Compliance, and Operations teams to help reduce operational risk, improve controls, and keep financial workflows running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with the stablecoin process by monitoring balances and thresholds, reviewing alerts, and coordinating follow-up actions with Engineering partners
  • Support unclaimed property operations by updating and maintaining tracking spreadsheets, organizing/saving supporting documents, and assisting with due diligence activities
  • Build and improve dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools that increase visibility into crypto inventory, P&L exposure, and workflow status
  • Execute research and process-improvement projects focused on reducing idle balances, improving automation, and documenting operational procedures
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational workflows using automation and AI tools

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document procedures, investigate issues, and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, control quality, and documentation
