The Deutsche Bank Internship Programme is designed to help you develop your skills through formal training and continuous support. You’ll quickly gain confidence to take on real projects by learning how and what we deliver for clients worldwide. About the Division
Fixed Income and Currencies brings together top-tier sales, trading, structuring and research teams across Credit, Emerging Markets, Foreign Exchange, and Rates. We empower clients to achieve their financial goals by offering tailored solutions to manage risk, secure funding, and access liquidity.
During the rotational programme, you’ll work across Fixed Income products to see firsthand how we respond to market trends, deliver for our clients, and make a difference in the world. By experiencing different roles and products, you’ll discover where your skills are best suited and where your interests lie.
About the Role
During the 9-week rotational Internship Programme, you’ll undergo upfront training with industry experts, followed by 8 weeks rotating with desks. You’ll learn from senior leaders, expand your network, and grow the skills needed to start your career.

Eligibility for the 2027 Internship Programme
- Complete your studies (all final exams and coursework, with no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1 August 2027 and 31 July 2028.
- Be able to start full-time work in July 2028, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements.
- Return to full-time study after the 2027 internship; if you do not return to full-time study, you will not be eligible for the 2028 Graduate Programme.
- Achieve at least 3 A-Levels at grade AAA, with a minimum grade A in A-Level Maths or the UCAS points equivalent (if you studied outside the UK, research the grade equivalents before proceeding).
- Be on track for a 2:1 or First (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree.
- Have no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience.
- For some placements within Fixed Income, in addition to English, fluency in a European language is desirable.
