Programme Overview

• Programme dates: 5 April – 6 April 2026
• Focus: Investment Banking or Global Markets
• Note: Corporate Infrastructure (Technology and Risk) will no longer be included.

If you are an ambitious, high-achieving candidate in your first year of university or second year of a four-year course (graduating in 2029), you are invited to apply for the two-day Explore Nomura Programme. The programme is designed to give you early insight into career opportunities at a leading global investment bank, including exposure to key business functions and the fundamental practices and principles of the business.

You will gain real-life experience in a fast-paced environment, meet new people, and build a valuable network for career information and direct support.

Explore Nomura is described as a unique four-day classroom-based opportunity to gain an early insight into Investment Banking and the skills necessary for success. It features desk shadowing, networking events, and case study exercises.

At the end of the programme, you may have the opportunity to be fast-tracked to first-round interviews for the 2027 Summer Internship Programme.

• English fluency: essential.
