Environmental Conditions

• Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety standards
• Cleanroom requirements: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.
• Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (e.g., safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
• Standing for the full shift

Job Description

When you’re part of the team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you’ll do important work with collaborative colleagues and support from a global leader. The incumbent will perform various tasks and activities listed below for which they are appropriately trained, in compliance with cGMP, company and department SOPs, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble single-use bio-processing containers for critical sterile liquid-handling applications in the biopharmaceutical industry
• Follow standard work instructions and interpret technical drawings to ensure consistent product quality
• Maintain strict adherence to ISO 13485:2016, ISO 22301:2019, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) documentation standards to ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance
• Complete all relevant training before performing any task
• Timely completion of relevant batch records with adherence to Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
• Participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI) to improve production efficiency and product quality
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with team members, including engineers, quality assurance, and maintenance personnel
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth production operations
• Ensure accurate storage and handling of materials to prevent contamination or damage
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements

• Minimum “O” Level, NITEC/ITE education, or a Diploma in a relevant field
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, or 3 to 5 years of working experience in any industry
• Good understanding of safe working practices and cGMP
• Highly motivated to work in the pharmaceutical industry
• Able to work as a team
• Able to work rotating shift
