Assistant Engineer, Project, Ship Repair - Changi

Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance work in a timely manner to uphold the ship’s operational readiness, including planning and execution of repair work, reviewing costs, and preparing reports.
• Conduct VSCC and oversee ship work safety and cleanliness.
• Liaise with trades regarding work activities, and monitor effort and productivity to achieve safe progress within schedule and budget.

Requirements

• Diploma in Marine / Mechanical / Naval Architecture Engineering.
• Possess the Supervise Safety Instruction for Ship Repair Manager Certificate.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Willing to work late and on weekends when required.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment; organized with strong team orientation.
