Job Responsibilities

Applied AI Intern to support QAC Vision and agentic AI features, focusing on evaluating multimodal models and agentic workflows for gaming use cases. The intern will work with AI, Software Engineering, and Product teams to experiment with emerging approaches, understand failure modes, and validate solutions for product adoption.

Job Scope

  • Support the evaluation and benchmarking of vision, multimodal, and agentic AI approaches for QAC use cases using curated datasets.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize evaluation workflows to measure model quality, reasoning accuracy, reliability, and agent performance.
  • Implement experimentation workflows to evaluate emerging AI models and frameworks, conduct error analysis, and investigate edge cases across perception, reasoning, and agent execution.
  • Develop reusable benchmarking utilities, evaluation tools, and prototypes to support technical validation and product buildout.
  • Document evaluation findings, limitations, and failure modes, and translate results into actionable recommendations for feature development.
  • Conduct research on emerging AI, multimodal, GenAI, and agentic AI technologies to identify potential opportunities for adoption.

Candidate Requirements

  • Understanding of core AI/ML concepts, including model evaluation, benchmarking, experimental design, and evaluation metrics.
  • Exposure to computer vision, multimodal AI, generative AI, or agentic AI.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with backend application development using NodeJS or FastAPI is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with curiosity and willingness to question assumptions.
  • Ability to investigate contextual failure modes and assess AI outputs critically rather than relying solely on automated metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment and learn through feedback.
