Each pathway is scoped by region and business group rather than a single centralised programme, so the unit of application is the individual posting in the Internships, Apprenticeships, and Co-Ops listing – a candidate is comparing role descriptions across business groups and regions one at a time rather than queueing against a single annual deadline.

On 18 March 2024 the firm closed its $28 billion acquisition of Splunk, its largest deal ever, folding observability and security analytics into the core platform.
