What this job involves

• Safely assemble, disassemble, transport, and store event equipment (e.g., tables, chairs, stages, signage, tents, audio-visual stands).
• Move furniture, boxes, and materials between classrooms, halls, storage areas, or outdoor venues as directed.
• Assist with room resets before and after school events (e.g., assemblies, exams, open days, sports days, performances).
• Follow instructions from supervisors regarding layout plans, timelines, and safety protocols.
• Handle all items with care to prevent damage; report any broken or missing equipment.
• Maintain a tidy, hazard-free work area during and after assignments.
• Adhere to school policies, including safeguarding guidelines and site access procedures.

Required Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in event setup, moving, warehouse work, or general handyman/artisan roles is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move items.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of tools and equipment (e.g., trolleys, dollies, basic hand tools).
