Middle Office Credit and Account Management Intern

Internship Period: 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027

Job Description

The incumbent will be required to:

• Understand Middle Office workflow processes across APAC locations and draft standard operating procedures, workflow process maps, and other department-related documents (including presentation materials).
• Ideate and build streamlining/automating solutions to improve MO CAM function, both locally (for SG) and regionally.
• Support the continuous development of regional/global credit risk frameworks, including resolution of complex credit processes or credit operational issues.
• Support credit-related improvement projects and initiatives, including updating credit processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Support internal and external audits (Credit Examination, JFSA / MAS / BoJ / RBI / Statutory, etc.) by coordinating activities for the department and maintaining credit files.
• Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws, and regulations, and adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
• Collect relevant data and reports across regional offices and build databases to support production of credit-related management information (MI) required for management’s decision-making.

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge and ability in numerical and statistical analysis of reports to interpret situational strengths and weaknesses.
• Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications; expertise in managing databases and building dashboards is an added advantage.
• Interest and knowledge of structured finance and/or global markets products is an added advantage.
• Problem-solving skills with an innovative and pragmatic approach; good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset; ability to work independently and under time pressure; multi-tasking while maintaining attention to detail with high accuracy.
