The First Line of Defense Financial Crimes Risk & Controls Center of Excellence (1LOD FCRC COE) provides a holistic, enterprise-wide approach to Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) across American Express. The team strengthens first-line financial crimes capabilities globally, including anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, payments controls, anti-corruption, and customer risk management.

Role Overview

Working in close partnership with Technology, Data, Analytics, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams, the organization is modernizing financial crimes capabilities through innovative product development, advanced analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The mission is to build scalable, intelligent solutions that enhance the company's ability to detect, prevent, and manage financial crime risks while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
