Actuarial Analyst

Role: Actuarial Services (Regional Corporate Team)

We have an exciting opportunity within the regional Corporate team based in Singapore. The role offers opportunities to work across different markets and products. Reporting directly to the Head of Actuarial Services, key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Provide support to reserve reviews underlying the Group results, covering a diverse range of business such as Property & Casualty, Accident & Health, and Personal Lines.
• Perform statutory reserve reviews and provide ERM support to meet local requirements.
• Prepare data and conduct analyses to understand the true underwriting performance of the portfolios.
• Enhance data analytical capabilities and improve processing efficiency to meet expanding business needs as the Asia Pacific portfolios grow.

Qualifications & Skills

We are open to graduate-level candidates or individuals with some experience who are interested in working in a general insurance environment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be able to provide flexible, practical solutions amid changing business requirements. Experience with programming languages such as Python and R is an advantage.

The role will have close engagement with stakeholders across various countries and products. The ability to interact with colleagues from different backgrounds and communicate in a direct and prompt manner is critical to success, and may lead to further opportunities within the Chubb global network.
