Program Description

Blackstone’s Summer Analyst Program spans 10 weeks and provides participants extensive exposure across the firm, including mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skills training, networking opportunities, and immersion in Blackstone’s culture.

Job Summary

Blackstone is seeking to recruit a Summer Analyst to support both the Global and Americas Real Estate Sustainability teams. The Summer Analyst will support research, sustainability reporting, and other work of the Real Estate sustainability team. The role provides exposure to initiatives including decarbonization and operational efficiency, capex project implementation, sustainability data management, investor-facing materials, and the evolving regulatory and compliance landscape globally.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on sustainability industry trends
  • Create sustainability reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including case studies highlighting best practices across Blackstone’s real estate portfolio
  • Collect and integrate large volumes of data from multiple sources
  • Provide project support to Real Estate’s Sustainability teams on investments and initiatives

Qualifications

Real Estate Sustainability seeks to hire highly motivated individuals who have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant interest in the sustainability space
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, including creating pivot tables and working with complex formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH) to accommodate large and complex data sets
  • Experience with SQL or Tableau preferred
  • Experience preferred with research, workflow optimization, and data analysis via AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Intellectual curiosity, robust work ethic, and a positive attitude
  • Desire to work in a team environment

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2027 – Spring 2028
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
  • Resume must be in PDF format

Compensation

Expected annual base salary range: $110,000 - $110,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by components including experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. For roles located outside of the US, posted salary bands should be disregarded as those roles follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
