Introduction

We are expanding our Fab Operations and are looking for Process Engineers. In this role, you will sustain and improve process and SPC to meet quality, cost, and productivity requirements. You will also drive process improvement to eliminate inherent process weaknesses and achieve company goals.

Your Job

  • Analyze SPC charts using SPACE. Know all PR rules and their significance.
  • Maintain quality troubleshooting rate for SPC OOC through proper annotation. Understand Cp and Cpk indices.
  • Review ESPC charts using SPACE. Know all rules for ESPC.
  • Analyze split lot, DOE data, ET, and sort yield using JMP and Klarity ACE.
  • Create SPC charts, manage DCOP, and modify SLDB using PROMIS (Si-View).
  • Upload and check recipes; ensure recipe content compliance using RMS.
  • Raise PCRB, understand requirements for PCRB opening, follow through with the qual plan, analyze data using required software, and ensure CR closure.
  • Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, or spec updates with ECN. Provide guidance to junior engineers.
  • Start up and qualify new processes and new equipment within the scheduled timeline. Work closely with Equipment Engineers on new equipment acceptance. Understand repeatability and reproducibility (R&R) run.
  • Analyze passed-down data to identify chronic process issues, establish improvement programs, and lead engineers to resolve them. Establish CAS procedures and coordinate with other departments when required.
  • Coach engineers on using toolsets more effectively. Provide feedback and training on troubleshooting skills, process understanding, decision-making, and risk assessment.
  • Lead engineers on improvement projects, process window studies, and provide improvement plans to reduce OOC and improve CPK. Coach process matching between equipment to reduce variation. Perform analysis/DOE to identify factors for better tool matching.
  • Work as a team with Equipment and Manufacturing Engineers to meet Module objectives. Drive the team to meet key indices of Uptime and OEE as per goals.
  • Take a leadership role to drive a small cross-functional task team addressing yield improvement/excursion issues.
  • Discuss integration-related issues and understand process flows.
  • Resolve complex technical issues within your Module or yield-related issues.
  • Participate in cross-fab benchmarking activities to adopt best-in-campus practices across fabs.
  • Self-audit and update specifications/documentation to meet TS16949 Quality Standard requirements.
  • Multiple open positions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Microelectronics Engineering.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor wafer process engineering.
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, and solve problems.
  • Ability to work Normal/Swing Shift (or 12-hour rotating shift if required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a foundry or similar industry background.
  • Analytical mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent team player.
