[Keppel Internship Programme 2027] Intern, Business Development, DER (Jan - May 2027)

Responsibilities

• Assist in market research and analysis, including energy market trends, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscapes relevant to PV and BESS.
• Support the preparation of presentation decks.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support project development activities.
• Maintain project trackers, data rooms, and internal documentation for ongoing and prospective projects.
• Provide general administrative support, including preparing meeting materials and documenting key discussion points.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as reasonably requested by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department.

Learning Outcomes

• Gain practical exposure to PV & BESS projects across development stages.
• Develop skills in project evaluation and stakeholder coordination within the renewable energy sector.
• Build a strong understanding of how clean energy projects are structured, assessed, and executed.

Job Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering (preferred) or a degree in Business with a Diploma in Engineering.
• Keen interest in sustainability.
• Prior experience in financial analysis and financial modelling (highly desirable).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and a good team player.
