Analyst, Credit Middle Office – Controls and Oversight

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to support our Private Banking business. In this role, you will serve the complex wealth management needs of ultra-high net worth clients across the world.

As an Analyst in the Credit Middle Office team, you will support the Controls and Oversight function, ensuring robust risk management, process integrity, and compliance across credit operations. The role involves monitoring, reviewing, and enhancing control frameworks, supporting regulatory and internal policy adherence, and partnering with stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Proactively identify opportunities to develop effective solutions that enhance controls and mitigate risk.
• Act as a point of contact for audit coordination, support the control assessment process, and assist with the timely submission of Requests for Information (RFIs) for internal and external audits.
• Ensure governance and oversight on business operational risks, including issue tracking and escalations.
• Support the development and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for credit operations.
• Oversee governance of credit legal documentation and liaise with internal and external legal teams on templates.
• Explore and develop automation opportunities for existing reports using Intelligent Automation tools such as Alteryx, Python, Unqork, and UiPath.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in Credit Risk or Lending in a financial institution.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze complex financial situations.
• Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
• High attention to detail with good time management.
• Team-oriented mindset; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and understanding of risk measures.
• Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Model solutions.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience with process mapping and control design.
• Strong understanding of Private Banking credit products, financial markets, and the securities industry.
• Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Python, Unqork, and UiPath.
