Overview

The Corporate Meetings & Events Team is part of JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Firmwide Events structure, responsible for delivering best-in-class events and programs for a range of clients inside and outside the firm. The team partners with colleagues across all lines of business and manages the entire event planning process from conception through event completion.

As the Events Management Analyst on the firmwide events team, you will engage with a broad range of business partners within the Firm. You will work closely with other team members to strategically plan and manage various aspects of events. In this role you will support high-touch events for the Office of the Chairman, as well as Commercial & Investment Bank leadership—particularly on hosting in our new headquarters. Additionally, you will support select executive engagements across the US.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various team members on multiple programs and tasks to deliver event-related projects.
  • Support the team with different aspects of event planning and execution including, but not limited to, venue research; data maintenance and integrity; internal and external communications; invitation creation, testing and distribution; staffing and support; post-event tasks.
  • Draft and edit client communications, including meeting invitations, follow-up and thank-you notes, and strategic updates for priority clients and senior leaders.
  • Manage attendee tasks, including reviewing and reconciling reports (invitee registrations, RSVPs, seating assignments), managing event supplies and shipping, researching and ordering promotional items, and producing print materials (name badges, tent cards, etc.).
  • Support the planning and logistics of market visits, including scheduling, briefing preparation, and post-visit follow-up.
  • Partner with the reporting team to distribute senior engagement reports, providing timely and accurate insights to business leaders.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and engagement activities in relevant systems and databases.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives to further the team’s mission of delivering exceptional client experiences.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • 1 year of experience in meeting planning
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with excellent multitasking skills and able to thrive under competitive pressures while remaining focused on prioritized tasks
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; demonstrates creative problem-solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to tackle multiple tasks, troubleshoot, and maintain a positive, solution-focused attitude
  • Requires occasional late nights, as well as some travel
