Job Overview
Execute client flow, make markets, and manage FX spot and forward risk by trading and providing liquidity to clients in EMEA Emerging Market FX and Interest Rate products. Provide market commentary and color to clients who invest in EMEA economies. Attend in-person meetings with various clients. Handle tasks including profit and loss reporting and risk reporting. Fund New York EMEA nostro balances daily to ensure proper settlement of trades.
Responsibilities
- Execute client flow and provide liquidity in FX spot and forward markets for EMEA Emerging Market and Interest Rate products.
- Manage risk associated with Emerging Markets, including initiating trades and risk-taking in macro financial markets.
- Produce market color and commentary for customers, including analysis of global macroeconomics and geopolitics.
- Trade across diverse market environments, considering EMEA market characteristics, liquidity, fundamentals, and local regulations across currencies and time zones.
- Manage client flow and risk at a sell-side institution in EMEA currencies and emerging markets; monetize franchise value.
- Service bank clients in EMEA emerging markets and maintain awareness of market dynamics and risk.
- Attend in-person client meetings and perform related reporting tasks, including P&L and risk reporting.
- Fund EMEA nostro balances daily to ensure proper settlement of trades.
Qualifications
Minimum education and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Finance, Mathematics, or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a CIB Associate, Currencies and Emerging Markets, or related occupation.
Skills Required
- Two years of experience executing client flow, making markets, and managing FX spot and forward risk by trading and providing liquidity in EMEA Emerging Market FX and Interest Rate products.
- Experience managing risk in Emerging Markets and initiating trades and risk-taking in macro financial markets and trading fundamentals.
- Ability to assemble market color and commentary for customers with analysis of global macroeconomics and geopolitics.
- FX trading and derivatives knowledge; experience trading in different market environments across EMEA currencies and time zones, considering liquidity, fundamentals, and local regulations.
- Experience managing client flow and risk at a sell-side financial institution in EMEA currencies and emerging markets; ability to monetize franchise value.
- Proven ability to service bank clients in EMEA emerging markets and manage risk of market dynamics.

Compensation & Benefits
Full-Time. Salary: $200,000 per year.
