What role will you play?

You will work closely with trading teams across fixed income, currencies and Asian energy markets to understand and challenge market risks arising from trading activity. You will monitor and report daily risk metrics to senior management, review and approve new transactions and products, and help ensure trading activity operates within an appropriate risk framework. You will also contribute to the development of trading limits, assess complex and structured transactions, and work with technology, operations and support teams to ensure risk exposures are accurately captured and reported. As part of a global team, you will gain broad exposure to financial markets and collaborate with colleagues across Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.

What you offer

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex market risks and make sound risk-based decisions
  • A strong interest in global financial markets, including the factors that drive movements in interest rates, foreign exchange, commodities and equity markets
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and confidently engage with trading teams and senior stakeholders
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and balance detailed analysis with longer-term strategic objectives
  • Further education in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, science or a related quantitative discipline
