Role

Finance (Record-to-Report) Intern — you will join the R2R Team and gain an inside view of how a leading professional services firm manages its financial backbone.

Key Responsibilities

• Receipts and payments management. Support interface reconciliation, adjustments, and data entries, and assist with bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Inter-company transactions. Help process and reconcile inter-company transactions, contributing to clean, well-documented financial records.
• Payment processing. Assist with GIRO payment data entries for salary, CPF, FWL, iExpense, and bank charges.
• Month-end close support. Help prepare monthly journals for accruals, prepayments, and rental recharges, and support balance sheet analysis and P&L extractions.
• Embrace digital transformation. Use digital finance tools, data analytics, and AI-enabled platforms to enhance the quality, efficiency, and insight of finance work.

What we’re looking for

• Accountancy or Finance students from local or overseas universities. Students from adjacent disciplines (e.g., Business, Economics) with a strong interest in finance and accounting are also welcome.
• Keen to develop yourself in the profession and take ownership of your learning journey.
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident, and creative, with a growth mindset.
• A strong co-curricular activities record demonstrating well-roundedness, leadership, and initiative.
