Step into a key position within VAT compliance at RSM UK as a VAT Compliance Analyst in our Global VAT Team (GVAT). As a VAT Compliance Analyst, you will support the delivery of high-quality, centralised VAT services for a diverse portfolio of international clients across the UK and EU. You’ll act as a trusted point of contact throughout the compliance lifecycle—from onboarding clients to managing VAT obligations across multiple jurisdictions. Working closely with global stakeholders, you’ll ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective VAT return delivery, identify opportunities to enhance VAT efficiency, and contribute to continuous process improvements in collaboration with RSM specialists.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, overseeing their indirect tax compliance requirements and ensuring all VAT filings are completed accurately and on time.
• Support the setup, maintenance and documentation of VAT processes to ensure clarity, consistency and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Review and analyse client data to identify potential VAT risks or opportunities, and work closely with global VAT specialists to deliver tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high-performing, knowledgeable team environment and uphold service standards.
• Contribute to the enhancement of VAT processes by participating in efficiency and automation projects that improve service delivery and client experience.
