Production Operators–Material Handlers are responsible for operating and troubleshooting equipment to support production efficiency and ensure our facility produces quality glass that meets customer needs.

Shifts & Schedule

• Multiple Shifts Open
• Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Rotating 12-hour shift: 6:45 am – 7:00 pm, 6:45 pm – 7:00 am; rotates every 2 weeks

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay starting at $20–$23 per hour based on experience
• $1000 Sign-On Bonus paid out at 6 months of employment

What You Will Do

• Maintain a safe work environment by consistently wearing proper PPE, following safe work procedures, and communicating safety concerns to supervision
• Understand and execute job per the given work instructions or JES
• Follow 5S procedures and perform general housekeeping
• Lift up to 50 pounds; may require lifting up to 35 pounds while twisting at waist level during packing
• Operate equipment and mechanized devices; run, maneuver, navigate, or drive forklifts
• Use control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes
• Inspect equipment, materials, and products to identify causes of errors, problems, or defects
• Judge product quality and adjust accordingly—following SOPs and JESs
• Communicate effectively between departments and internal customers
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment used in daily manufacturing
• Prepare final products for shipping and distribution
• Understand and execute daily run schedules, resolve quality issues, and report/escalate unresolved issues
• Regularly walk the shift to perform quality checks, pack product, assist co-workers, and move between tasks

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Experience using a computer and familiarity with technology

What Will Put You Ahead

• One year or more of experience in farming, manufacturing, industrial, or military environments
• Six months or more of machine operator experience
• Experience using a tape measure, air nailer, hammer, bander, micrometers, and glass cutters
• Experience operating an overhead crane
• Experience operating a forklift and/or motorized pallet jack
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance
