Overview

Penultimate-year undergraduate or master's student with outstanding academic achievement seeking a summer internship with the potential for 2028 full-time conversion. Must demonstrate a track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities, combined with strong quantitative/analytical skills, attention to detail, and client focus. The role requires strategic and creative thinking, distinguished written and oral communications, assertiveness, initiative, leadership, a strong work ethic, and a team orientation. Candidates should be able to learn quickly, take on new responsibilities, and adapt to changing demands. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional Asian language is advantageous.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain complex financial models
• Perform various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
• Conduct comprehensive company and industry research
• Prepare presentation and other materials for clients
• Participate in due diligence sessions and interact with deal team members
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
• Collaborate on projects with bankers in specific industry, product, and country coverage groups
• Assist the team in delivering solutions to clients by leveraging the bank’s full capabilities
• Build a global network, learning from teams and senior bankers worldwide
• Develop relationships, knowledge, and experience to open future career opportunities

Program Overview

The Summer Analyst program is a 10-week experience designed to provide exposure to life at Bank of America and to contribute significantly to the team. The program begins with orientation and induction. Summer Analysts are given an associate-like experience, with assignments mirroring full-time responsibility, goal setting, and formal reviews. Benefits include access to the bank’s learning hub, structured and on-the-job training, networking and social opportunities, speaker series with senior management, and corporate social responsibility learning. Some countries place Summer Analysts in generalist teams, while others assign them to specific teams throughout the internship. Team placement is determined by business needs and the Summer Analyst’s interests and skills.
