Program Details

Citi is looking for Summer Analysts to join the Citi Markets team in New York City. As part of Markets, your work can make an immediate impact—from providing financing solutions to the world’s leading corporations, governments, and institutional investors to offering a robust range of products and services, you will gain varied and thorough knowledge in this diverse rotational program.

Our Markets Analyst Program is highly competitive and selective, giving you the opportunity to actively participate in the research, trading, and marketing of securities to our institutional client base. As a Summer Analyst, you will rotate across products and functions within Markets to gain a well-rounded experience over 10 weeks.

Training & Development

All Summer Analysts participate in a week-long comprehensive training program during the first week of the Summer Program. The training program is taught by skilled external consultants along with selected professionals with industry and product expertise. The program covers all fundamental aspects of the Markets Summer Analyst role.

Your Time Here

We offer weekly senior speaker events throughout the summer to deepen your understanding of the Markets industry. As a Summer Analyst, you will participate in Speaker Series sessions with product heads and attend networking events to connect with both junior and senior professionals. You will work with peers on projects and pitch trade ideas. Group projects will help you network with your analyst class and utilize the skills and knowledge gained from rotating across product areas. The networks built during the program will continue to be a resource throughout your Citi career.

• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (graduating in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028).
• You are excited to work in our New York office.
• You maintain a GPA of 3.3 or above.
• You are creative in solving problems and intellectually curious.

• You are enthusiastic, quick-thinking, and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You are confident and comfortable with clients and articulate in oral and written communication.
• You are focused on achieving the group and client objectives.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: $110,000.

In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may include discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
