Job Title

Associate, Project Management — Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, New York, NY

Responsibilities

  • Execute a full project lifecycle including case definition, benefits realization for the firm, business requirements, test planning and execution, and production rollout.
  • Understand the firm’s and Operations’ strategic plans, business processes, and architecture to influence design and drive change; collaborate with business units to streamline processes and mitigate risk, cost, or service issues and generate efficiencies.
  • Leverage knowledge of the firm’s proprietary systems, architecture, reporting technology, audit and regulatory methodology, and trade flows to manage and resolve cross-program risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Utilize understanding of operational policies, products, and procedures across jurisdictions and customized firm-specific industrialization tools.
  • Facilitate strategic decisions across delivery workstreams to ensure design and implementation adhere to the firm’s standards, technology, and strategy.
  • Define the delivery and resource plan, manage stakeholder communications, and establish program governance.
  • Lead the portfolio for the Change the Bank initiative with a significant focus on regulatory-driven changes.
  • Implement and manage processes for effective risk management of regulatory changes going into production (release management, environment stability, UAT, regression, and production testing).
  • Drive efficiency using BI technologies such as EazyBI, Alteryx, and Tableau.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Management, or related field with one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related role.
  • Or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Management, or related field with three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
  • Experience includes:
    • Principles and methodologies of project management and change delivery.
    • Leading strategic decisions across multiple workstreams to ensure design, engineering, and business deliverables are scheduled within agreed timelines.
    • Defining roadmap delivery, stakeholder management, and governance frameworks.
    • Analyzing metrics and visualizing data using analytical tools including Tableau, Alteryx, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Heap.
    • Articulating business value propositions for each program and identifying various measures of success.
    • Defining business scenarios and requirements and drafting them using tools such as Blueprint, JIRA, or Confluence.

Salary

Annual base salary for this New York, NY-based position is $103,000 – $153,280.
