We are seeking an Associate to join our Human Capital Operations team in White Plains, NY (preferred) or New York City.

Role
This position supports critical employee lifecycle processes, ensuring seamless onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, background investigation management, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Manage the end-to-end background investigation process for new hires
- Assist in new employee orientations
- Maintain I-9 and E-Verify system data
- Process weekly payroll for non-exempt employees and respond to payroll-related inquiries
- Maintain and audit employee data within HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Serve as a resource for employee benefits inquiries
- Take ownership of projects, contribute to process improvements, and develop expertise
- Ad hoc projects, as needed
Qualifications
This role is suitable for individuals early in their Human Capital careers, as well as experienced professionals seeking a hands-on operational role within a collaborative and supportive environment.
- BA/BS in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience in human resources, operations, or administrative roles in fast-paced environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality
- Experience managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; Workday experience is a plus
- Willing to travel between New York City and White Plains as needed for collaboration
This hybrid role offers a competitive annual salary, comprehensive benefits package, and performance-based incentives.
Compensation & Benefits
The applicable base salary for this role is $80,000 – $85,000 per year and is bonus eligible. The base pay offered will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. We offer a competitive total rewards package including health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401(k) savings and other retirement programs, and employee assistance programs.
