Market Operations Analyst (New York)

Role Overview

Insight Investment is looking for a Market Operations Analyst to join the Market Operations team in New York. In this role, you will oversee the outsourced back office, provide industry expertise in handling open issues, contribute to projects, scrutinize process controls, and manage daily relationships.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee our two outsourced back-office providers to ensure timely and accurate service that adheres to or exceeds agreed service levels, including formal checkpoint meetings and informal daily interactions
• Daily review of front office system reconciliations and collaborate with outsourced back offices and the trading desk to rectify outstanding issues
• Rectify outstanding asset setup issues and corporate actions
• Follow up on trade breaks, overdrafts, and other cash-related issues
• Review, identify, and enhance process controls
• Work with IT regarding trade data quality, efficiency of processes, and electronic trading system connectivity
• Post and approve client cash activity
• Daily and monthly price valuation
• Implement procedures and activities required for closing loans
• Review and approve leveraged loan trade details and coordinate with loans team to rectify trade-related details
• Work independently on ad hoc and project requests
• Collaborate with the London Market Operations Team to align procedures and oversight methodology; monitor onboarding and transition activities and resolve related issues
• Participate in weekly service meetings to discuss business activity, open issues, and outline steps to resolve outstanding items

Experience Required

• Experience in a Fixed Income support role with familiarity across global securities, derivatives, and options markets
• Demonstrated experience in the loan closing process; direct loan closing expertise is a strong advantage
• Solid familiarity with loan documentation, LSTA standards, and Clearpar/WSO knowledge
• Hands-on experience across a broad range of loan products
• Proactive with a track record of completing tasks
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to share tasks and work well with a partner in covering group accountabilities

Compensation

Under New York City pay transparency law, the base salary range for this role is USD 110,000 to 125,000. Any offer of employment will be made based on the specific skills and experience of the selected candidate, and the base salary offered could be higher or lower than indicated.
