As an intern within Global Transportation, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how corporate banking supports essential infrastructure and connectivity worldwide. What you do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Industry Research: conduct research across the global transportation value chain, including aviation, shipping, ports, and logistics services, to support relationship managers and credit teams
- Macroeconomic & Geopolitical Monitoring: monitor macroeconomic trends and geopolitical developments that may impact transportation sectors
- Financial Analysis Support: assist in performing financial analysis of corporate obligors within the transportation sector
- Insights & Reporting: help prepare research summaries, analysis, and materials to support internal discussions and decision-making
- Stakeholder Support: engage professionally with internal stakeholders and support issue resolution in line with organisational procedures
Who you work with
You’ll be part of the Regional Coverage – Global Transportation team within Global Corporate Banking, working closely with Relationship Managers, credit teams, and sector specialists. The team collaborates across functions to support corporate clients, manage risks, and deliver tailored banking solutions to transportation companies globally.
Who you are
- An Undergraduate student, preferably pursuing Business, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines
- Interested in corporate banking, transportation sectors, and financial analysis
- Possesses basic knowledge of financial statement analysis
- Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- A clear communicator who is able to engage stakeholders professionally
- Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced environment
Learning Objectives
