• The Complete Banker™ Programme: 24 months of structured rotations across retail and non-retail banking, data and digital, and governance and risk, including a regional rotation across ASEAN; minimum CGPA 3.25, open to undergraduate and master's graduates with under a year of work experience.
• PROTÉGÉ: eight months total, combining one week of classroom training with on-the-job rotations; minimum entry is a diploma.
• Headstart Internship Programme: a minimum 10-week internship, primarily in CIMB Malaysia and accepted year-round, with intakes also at CIMB Niaga (Indonesia) and CIMB's Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Philippines entities via each country's HR team.
• CIMB ASEAN Scholarship: a full undergraduate or master's scholarship for designated ASEAN-country citizens, with a compulsory paid internship at CIMB in the penultimate year and a one- or two-year employment bond per year studied (capped at five years).

The four sort onto different tracks: a long graduate scheme (the Complete Banker), a shorter rotational route (PROTÉGÉ), an internship that doubles as a screened gateway into the graduate scheme, and a scholarship that pre-commits several years of post-study employment. Year-round acceptance is the default across the bank's graduate and internship surface, so for most programmes the binding constraint is the candidate's own lead time rather than a fixed cohort deadline.
