Role
In this role you will support customer experience by accurately processing and approving teller transactions, sharing digital solutions, and introducing customers to bankers. You will perform operational activities within established policies, support the Branch Manager with operational tasks and scheduling, resolve daily teller-line issues, assist customers and employees with concerns, and provide excellent service while meeting business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support customer experience by accurately processing and approving teller transactions, sharing digital solutions, and introducing bankers when appropriate
- Complete operational activities while minimizing risks under established policies
- Perform routine to moderately complex transactional, operational, and customer support tasks efficiently with knowledge of bank procedures and products, in coordination with partners across the organization
- Support the Branch Manager in operational tasks and scheduling
- Resolve issues related to daily teller-line operations under direction of regional banking management
- Assist customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints
- Receive guidance from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures
- Provide excellent service by demonstrating care, building relationships, and completing requested transactions
- Identify information and services to meet customers’ financial needs
- Motivate a diverse team to achieve full potential and meet business objectives
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of customer service and issue resolution support experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Desired Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to listen, elicit information, and understand customer issues
- Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and explain the value of mobile banking
- Professional integrity and communication with customers and employees
- Ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
- Cash handling experience
- Well-organized, independent, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to exercise judgment, raise questions to management, and adhere to policy guidelines
- Relevant military experience in personnel benefits management, processing orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, HR, or military recruiting
- Knowledge of retail compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
- Ability to motivate others to achieve full potential and meet business objectives
Job Details

- Pay Range: $23.00 - $30.25 per hour (base pay; may vary by location and experience; incentive opportunities may apply)
