Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Investment Banking and Capital Markets
Location: New York, NY
Overview
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Investment Banking and Capital Markets business. This role will support the Group Head and other Managing Directors while collaborating with coverage partners across all regional offices. To be successful, you must be highly motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of proactively taking initiative. This role is on-site five days a week.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate international and domestic travel and hotel arrangements, including extensive trip itineraries and expense reimbursement requests; coordinate meeting arrangements (scheduling, conference rooms, catering); prepare and process travel and entertainment expenses promptly and accurately; organize client and team events; process and track invoices for payment and follow up as appropriate
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes including desk coordination, floor access, ID creation, etc.
- Provide support to the Group Head and Business Manager with group presentations via PowerPoint and Excel; liaise with high-profile individuals daily; provide timely and accurate follow-up on assigned projects
- Arrange coverage when away from desk or office
- Develop a thorough understanding of the IBCM policies and guidelines
Skills You’ll Need
- College degree required
- Ability to work effectively to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Highly motivated and willing to take on ad-hoc work as needed
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Demonstrated team player with excellent organizational skills and the ability to anticipate needs
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients, officers, and peers professionally; maintain confidentiality and discretion

- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills; proactive, resourceful, flexible, and creative
Expectations
It is Deutsche Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.
The salary range for this position in New York City is $60,000 to $95,000. Actual salaries may be based on factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
