Wintermute is a global company with offices in London and Singapore. It opened its US office in early 2025 and plans significant growth over the next several years, creating an opportunity to play a role in the early expansion of Wintermute Americas.

What You Will Work On

You will monitor and trade prediction markets in real time across Kalshi, Polymarket, and other venues. You will implement strategies across categories such as sports, upDown markets, elections, and weather.

This is a hands-on, greenfield role. Predictions is an opportunity to build the system you want, with significant freedom and responsibility. You will need to provide coverage for key events—such as major sports games where market activity is heightened—and may work evenings or weekends.

Hard Skills Requirements

• Strong Python skills, with 1–3 years of coding experience through work, study, or personal projects (we will test).
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills (we will test).
• Demonstrated interest in prediction markets (e.g., personal trading, following major developments, or contributing to discussions).
• Owner mentality focused on the ultimate result, including company P&L and strategically growing the business and Wintermute partnerships.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a drive to see your work succeed (you are willing to do what’s needed across trading, coding, analyzing data, and collaborating).
• Determined, ambitious, and humble mindset—willing to work hard and learn.
• Preference for meritocracy and being judged by what you deliver.
• Enjoyment of collaborative environments.
