SGX Internship Programme (Finance and Corporate Development)

SGX offers an immersive, full-time internship experience where interns are involved in real-time work from Day 1. This internship programme runs full-time from January to June 2026.

Enterprise Performance and Analytics (EPA)

Brief Overview

Enterprise Performance & Analytics (EPA) supports management decision-making through financial planning and analysis, performance tracking, and cost management. Partnering closely with business units and senior stakeholders, EPA delivers actionable insights, monitors key drivers, and supports strategic decisions.

Learning Objectives

• Gain exposure to enterprise-wide financial planning and performance management, including financial analysis, forecasting, and process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Understand the key drivers of the exchange business.

Job Description

• Forecasting: Support the preparation of financial forecasts by gathering data, updating financial models, and analyzing trends.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on financial performance, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management presentations.
• Data Automation Projects: Support data automation initiatives that enable efficient, self-service access to financial information.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

• Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a systematic approach to managing and reviewing financial data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize, validate, and interpret data; troubleshoot discrepancies; identify trends; and derive meaningful insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, and PivotTables; strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear, compelling charts and management-level visual materials; and working knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, with a proactive mindset, strong learning agility, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
